YG released a short film late last year called Blame It On The Streets. I don’t even like to watch good movies, so I sure as hell won’t be reviewing YG’s shitty one. I’m about to listen to the soundtrack. I’m honestly not expecting much. His album My Krazy Life wasn’t that bad, but nobody was really talkin’ about this when it dropped. If it was good then I would’ve heard about it more. Shit, half the people reading this have probably never even heard of it. HipHopDX gave it a 3 out of 5. It’s probably not good. Is anyone seriously interested in the movie tho? Why the fuck would I want to watch a short film from YG? Maybe if I was into movies I would care more. If you want to see the movie for whatever reason I’ll put it here.
Track 1: BPT (Live In The Bay) [Prod. DJ Mustard]
I don’t know why any one would want to hear a live version of a song that they already have. You would have to be a really hardcore YG fan to want to hear something like this. To be fair, anyone that cares enough to listen to this project probably IS a hardcore YG fan. The DJ is yelling the N word over and over again. YG is apparently 6 feet tall. I don’t really like concerts, but this sounds like an alright performance. I just don’t like live versions of songs. Is that YG? It sounds like his DJ is rapping instead of him. When did YG’s voice get so deep? I personally don’t really fuck with this shit, but I guess it isn’t bad. It’s exactly what you think it is. If you like live versions of songs then you might like this. He’s yelling a lot. I don’t like it when rappers just yell at they concerts. That shit’s annoying. This isn’t for me. It’s alright I guess. I just won’t be listening to this shit again. 3/5
Track 2: Bicken Back Bein’ Bool (Remix) Feat. Big Wy, Mack 10 & DJ Quik [Prod. DJ Mustard]
I wasn’t really feelin’ the original version of this song which was on his album. Hopefully the verses can make it a little more interesting. The beat and hook are still boring as hell. Big Wy is on the first verse. Not sure who the hell that is. His verse actually wasn’t that bad honestly. Mack 10’s goin’ in now. His verse was cool too. DJ Quik’s goin’ in now. He sounds gangsta as fuck. I like his verse. YG doesn’t have a verse. That’s probably a good thing. This song still isn’t that good, but it’s definitely more exciting than it was before. This is alright. I guess. 3/5
Track 3: Blame It On The Streets Feat. Jay 305 (Prod. Mike Free)
This beat is alright I guess. It’s so boring & generic. Have you ever heard a YG song? This song has the same beat. Jay 305 is on the first verse. I’m not really feelin’ his flow. This is gangsta and everything, but it’s just so boring. Jay 305’s delivery is nothing special. The hook is boring. Everything about this song so far is boring as fuck. Nah. YG’s verse is nothing special. His flow and delivery are definitely better than Jay 305’s, but it’s still not very good. This is one of the most boring songs I’ve ever heard. Even if you aren’t tired of the typical DJ Mustard beat yet, this isn’t good. This is… bad. This is so goddamn boring. Why is Mike Free immitating DJ Mustard’s sound? What the fuck is the point? This sucks. I’m not feelin’ this shit. It really isn’t that bad, but it’s just so boring. This is wack to me. 2/5
Track 4: Ride With Me Feat. RJ & Nipsey Hussle (Prod. DJ Mustard & DJ Swish)
This is a remix according to RapGenius. The original song is just by RJ. I’m not really familiar with RJ. I just know that he’s signed to YG’s Pu$haz Ink label. I don’t think I’ve ever heard any of his music. This beat is average. Again. It’s a DJ Mustard. RJ’s goin’ in right now. His verse is okay. The hook average. RJ is singin’, but his voice isn’t very good. He’s not bad, but it’s just… It’s boring. It’s still boring. YG’s verse is stupid as hell, but I kinda fuck with it. Nipseys’ verse is nothing special. This song is boring. This isn’t going well. I don’t fuck with this song. It’s so goddamn boring. The hook is so boring. The beat is so boring. The verses are average as hell. I’m not feelin’ this. This is wack to me. 2/5
Track 5: Me & My Bitch (Remix) [Performed by The Neighbourhood)
Maybe this’ll be more interesting since YG isn’t involved. Oh shit. This is a remix of a song from My Krazy Life? It must’ve been boring as hell because I do not remember a goddamn thing about it. Uh oh. I don’t think this is gonna be good. Where was this recorded? It sounds like it was recorded with an iPhone. What is this a voice memo? This guy can sing, but… First of all, it’s really not my type of music. Even if it was tho… This is… BORING. THIS IS SUCH A BORING EP. I don’t know if I should’ve expected anything better from a soundtrack for a short film by YG, but goddamn. This is not goin’ well. “Pussy stayed wet like she was mixed with Mexican.” What the fuck? What the hell is that supposed to mean? This song is not interesting to me at all. This is some fuckin’ Drake shit. I don’t want to hear about some guy that’s salty about his ex. This is boring. Nah. This is wack af. I can’t fuck with this shit. This is so fucking bad. I’m not feelin’ this shit at all. 1/5
Track 6: If I Ever Feat. Tee Cee & Charlie Hood (Prod. Mike Free & Terrace Martin)
Oh shit. He got Terrace Martin on this motherfucker? This beat might actually end up being kinda dope. This song opens up with some guy talkin’ to a girl. He’s like “I love you. Nah. I’m just playin’. Fuck you bitch.” This beat is actually not bad. YG’s basically just talkin’ about how he doesn’t give a fuck about a bitch. This hook is pretty goddamn terrible. Hahahaha. This hook is so bad. I think that’s Tee Cee singin’. He can’t sing. His verse was pretty bad too. “If I ever gave a fuck about one bitch, nigga I would be dumb.” Hahaha. This hook is so fucking bad. Tee Cee and Charlie Hood are pretty much just clones of YG with different voices. This beat is better than the other’s, but the verses and hook are bad. I’m not feelin’ this shit. This is boring as hell. This is bad. Nah. This is wack to me. 2/5
Track 7: G$FB Feat. Slim 400, RJ & D-Lo (Prod. Kreep)
I haven’t been this fucking bored since I listened to that Curren$y album. What the fuck is happening? Why doesn’t he just try some different production? I’d rather hear an acapella verse at this point. Anything but DJ Mustard. Kreep please don’t mimick DJ Mustard. Please for the love of God just don’t. Don’t do it. Please. Oh shit. This beat is actually dope. I don’t believe it. I actually fuck with this beat. Yes. Thank you Kreep. Yes. The bass on this shit is dope af. Wow. I like this beat. Yes. Thank God. Hahahaha. Wow. Someone annotated all of the lyrics for this song on RapGenius and the description just says “Random ass shit.” It has 5 downvotes. One of them is from me. Slim 400 is on the first verse. I really have no idea what the fuck he’s talkin’ about. I’m 99% sure that it’s incredibly misogynistic tho. He’s talkin’ about giving girls cocaine so that they’ll have sex with him. I think. “So I put ’em on, all of ’em grown, they get dope & all you need to do is just give ’em a lil’ coke.” His flow isn’t terrible, but I’m really not feelin’ his verse. The hook is boring too. You know what? This beat is starting to sound like DJ Mustard to me. I don’t know what it is. I don’t know if it’s the way these guys are rapping or if I’m goin’ crazy, but this beat is getting less good the more I listen to it. It’s still better than the other shit, but… It’s definitely not that good. I think that’s RJ on the second verse. His delivery was kinda cool, but nah. I’m not feelin’ this. D-Lo is on the last verse. His flow is pretty nice. Nah. Nah. This is boring as fuck. I don’t even know what it is. This production style just does not… It’s so… BORING. This is so goddamn boring. I don’t believe how bored I am right now. This isn’t even that bad tho. I’m just not feelin’ it. YG is nowhere to be found on this song. He doesn’t have a verse. This is really just a Slim 400 song. Why the fuck am I listening to a Slim 400 song? What am I doing with my life? Nah. This is wack. 2/5
Track 8: O.M.M.I.O. Freestyle (Performed by RJ) [Produced by RJ]
I really don’t give a shit about the quality of this music anymore. I just want this EP to be over. It is so goddamn hot in my room right now. None of the other rooms are this hot tho. Oh wow hahahaha. Remember when I said I would’ve preferred an acapella song? Well that’s what this is. Hahahaha. I can’t believe it. They must’ve ran out of slightly different sounding beats. I really don’t give a fuck about this song. It’s average. His verse definitely isn’t worth downloading. It’s not horrible. It’s just an average verse. It’s alright. 3/5
Track 9: 2015 Flow (Prod. DJ Mustard)
This beat is a lot more interesting than the other ones. His flow is pretty good. He’s actually kinda goin’ in. Huh. Well, I just listened to the entire song and the beat never dropped. There are no drums in this song. It’s just the same loop repeating over and over again. This is really not that good, but this is sadly one of the best songs on this project. He’s just spittin’ some bars over an average loop. Let’s not give DJ Mustard too much credit here. The beat isn’t that good. It’s just kind of interesting when you compare it to his other shit. If this was from any other producer everyone would think it was some bullshit. I’m not really… This isn’t really bad… It just feels incomplete. He has an average verse over an underwhelming beat that never drops. That’s what this is. His flow was kinda cool, but nothing really stood out. This is alright. 3/5
Final Thoughts:
Was anyone really expecting that to be good? It wasn’t. At all. There is not one song on here that is worth downloading. If you’ve heard any other project by YG you’ve pretty much already heard this one. It’s boring as fuck. It’s so boring. DJ Mustard. YG. They need to stop working together. Some of these songs are literally the same shit that we’ve heard from his album. I’m serious. Three of these songs are from his album. There’s no reason to pick this up unless you’re a YG dickrider. Do those even exist? Is there really anyone out there who thinks that YG is an amazing rapper? I don’t think so. I just wasted my whole day. This was not a good EP. I’m not feelin’ this shit. This shit is wack.

Blame it on the streets was shit, the guy that wrote a review for a movie he didn’t see is really dumb, and his grammar is really bad. I really don’t understand how you can take any music seriously if it is no good live. What he is saying the artist is shit and they relies on post production to make their music bearable. So this was not a review it is speculation by someone barley literate.
“barley literate.” Really? I can’t take your comment seriously if you’re gonna say shit like that. I mean, I don’t usually mind comments with a lot of misspelled words or bad grammar, but practice what you preach man. “What he is saying the artist is shit and they relies on post production to make their music bearable.” Seriously, what the hell does that even mean? That sentence is missing at least five words…
