This EP was released on January 19th. It’s only two songs, so I listened to it as soon as it dropped. I wasn’t expecting much from it honestly, but he surpassed my expectations, so yeah. In a nutshell, I liked the shit.

The production is really light on God’s Plan. It sounds like something from Thank Me Later, but with worse verses. I like it though. It’s good enough sonically for me to be able to look past the shitty verses. Obviously it’s not one of my favorite songs, but for Drake, this is surprisingly good. I fuck with God’s Plan.

I like Diplomatic Immunity too, but not enough to download it. I just don’t care. I don’t care about Drake’s life at all, so I didn’t care for this song. His flow was boring as hell, and his voice irritates me for some reason. So yeah, it’s not for me. I don’t think it’s bad. It’s just kinda boring.

Overall, this is a decent EP. It’s really not that good. It’s good for Drake though. This is better than I’m used to for Drake. I haven’t listened to More Life yet, but I liked some of the promotional singles I’ve heard for that project, so I might actually check it out eventually. I don’t know. Anyway, I liked this shit. It’s dope.
