Okay, now THIS is a freestyle! I wish y’all could’ve seen my reaction when I first heard this shit. I was literally yelling and jumping out of my seat.

I don’t know how this freestyle could’ve gone over any better. His flows were impeccable, his lyrics were far from generic, and his delivery was flawless. Smokepurrp should be embarrassed. It should come as no surprise that J.I.D murdered him by comparison. The Never Story turned me into a fan, so I knew this was gonna be good. I honestly forgot just how talented the dude was though. J. Cole hit the jackpot when he signed this guy. I love the look he gave the camera when he finished his freestyle; he was like “Yeah, I really just did that.” This shit is fucking amazing. J.I.D is dope af.
