This album was released on July 5th this year (2018). I haven’t listened to a B.o.B project since Underground Luxury, which was all the way back in 2013. Is it safe to say he fell off? I mean, I don’t think his music was ever really that good in the first place to be honest. I’m not gonna pretend I’ve never enjoyed any of his music though. I liked a couple tracks off of that Fuck ‘Em We Ball mixtape he had in 2012. Specifically the title track. I just feel like the majority of the tracks on his projects are kinda bad. Oh shit; I almost forgot… I reviewed that No Genre: The Label mixtape he put out at the beginning of 2015. It wasn’t complete trash, but it definitely wasn’t good. Anyway, I don’t really think I’m gonna like this project to be honest, but I’ll try to keep an open mind. It’s thankfully just over half an hour, so if it ends up being terrible I won’t have to suffer for long.

The production on Kumbaya is actually really nice, but the first verse from B.o.B kinda left me scratching my head. He seems to be really mad at women for some reason. That shit he said about mother’s day was kind of weird. The hook from London Jae’s not bad. The second verse was pretty graphic. I kinda like the song. It’s cool sonically. I just don’t really like it that much when it comes to the lyrics. It’s an okay track. I won’t be listening to it again though. Oh God… I’m really not feelin’ Matador Bobby. I really don’t like the Dubstep-ish production. It’s a really shitty song honestly. It’s thankfully a pretty short track. I really didn’t like that shit at all though, mainly due to the production. It’s not like he said anything cool lyrically either. His flow was unimpressive. It’s just a really crappy track. Shit is wack.
The third track is the most notorious song on the album. It stands out from the tracklist for obvious reasons. The music video managed to amass almost 2 million views as of August 2nd, which is kind of surprising to me. It’s definitely an interesting song. It sounds like B.o.B is frustrated with the industry & the way black rappers are viewed. I don’t know. It’s definitely not a good song. It’s not trash though. The beat’s pretty bad, and B.o.B didn’t really impress me at all. It’s a surprisingly boring song. By the time it was over I was really regretting starting this review. The project is only 10 tracks, but it’s really been a chore to listen to up to this point. I’m more offended by how underwhelming the song is than its actual title. It’s wack to me. Oh my fucking God. Elbows is so fucking bad. The hook from Waka Flocka is terrible, and the production is really shitty.
I WANNA SEE YA ASS AND YA ELBOWS
I’d hate to be in any club that plays this wack ass techno trap shit. It’s wack af.
The beat on Gerald LeVert is actually kinda nice. It has some of the dumbest lines on the album though. That shit he said about not speaking “bird” was fucking stupid as hell. I feel like I should’ve mentioned this earlier, but… I mean… Do people really think he thinks the Earth is flat? I always assumed he was trolling because his music career was going downhill, and it was the only way he could get any attention. He had one line about it being flat in track 3. Anyway, I know that was kinda random, but I felt like it needed to be mentioned. I’m conflicted on track 5. I really like the beat honestly. B.o.B just pisses me off. I don’t know what it is about him. I just can’t listen to him without getting annoyed. Maybe it has something to do with him promoting ignorance. The electronic beat on Dontbenobodysbitch is decent I guess. I’m not really feelin’ the first verse though. His flow isn’t doing anything for me. I also didn’t like the long winded intro. The hook’s tolerable. I don’t know, man. It’s just not enjoyable to me at all. It’s wack to me. It could definitely be worse, but that’s not really much of a compliment. I’m not feelin’ the beat on T.M.I. The hook’s bad. Uuuuuuuugh… This shit fucking sucks, man. It’s so fuckin’ boring. Why am I even listening to this shit? Nobody gives a fuck about B.o.B in 2018. I bet nobody’s gonna even read this shit. I don’t know who this Big Havi guy is, but he’s average as fuck. I’m never gonna listen to this song ever again. It’s wack.
The beat on Cuello is fucking horrific. This nigga sampled Future’s wack as verse from King’s Dead. This is easily the worst song on the album so far. I don’t see it getting much worse than this. The only good thing about it is the semi-pornographic music video. I’m hesitant to call the video “good” to be honest. It kinda just irritated the shit outta me. B.o.B looked like he was having fun. Good for him. I’m never gonna listen to this song ever again though because it’s fucking awful. I’m not feelin’ the piano driven beat on How It Is. The piano is my favorite instrument, but I don’t like the way it’s done on this track. I admire the fact that B.o.B’s rapping with no percussion. The beat itself isn’t good to me though. I don’t care for the subject matter either. He’s rapping about romance. This motherfucker literally says “what is love?” multiple times in the song. The beat on Bad Computer is actually kinda cool. It’s really grandiose. He’s rapping about the future. Basically, he’s describing life in the year 5, uh… 5000 something. I don’t remember exactly what year he said. It’s very far in the future though. It’s one of the most interesting & tolerable songs on the album, but it’s still not good. I’m not gonna listen to it ever again. It’s better than most of the material on this album though.
Don’t worry bud I read your review
