I don’t think Kendrick needs to respond so soon. This song fell completely flat and he’s probably letting Drake soak in it. With every diss he sounds more and more like a total idiot.
You can tell he’s been either misinterpreting or twisting the content on Mr. Morale (as Kdot predicted). It was evident on Family Matters, which was all over the place, and his best bars on that were for other rappers. He’s just throwing a bunch of bs statements about Kendrick out there hoping something will stick, and it’s not happening. You can argue they’re both playing that game, but given how terribly Drake is handling these pdf file allegations (plus the common knowledge of previous incidents), I feel like Kendrick is trusting us to do the math lolol.
Don’t get me wrong, it’d be nice if Kendrick came out and addressed some things directly. Drake just can’t stop proving him right tho, and at this point I have 0 reason to believe anything that comes out of his mouth.
