This marathon was originally completed in 2016, but since it’s been 4 years it’s very outdated. I still hate everything from before Culdesac, but everything from EP to Because the Internet is even better to me than it originally was. Because the Internet is damn near flawless to me now. I don’t dislike any of the songs. As of May 6th, it’s looking like 3.15.20 is the final Childish Gambino album, which is kinda sad. I love the album, but I just want more. I’m hoping he’ll just start releasing music as Donald Glover or something. I don’t know. We’ll see what happens. Anyway, ever since I got into Hip Hop, Childish Gambino has been my favorite artist of all time. Obviously he’s far from the best overall lyricist. I just connect to his music because he puts a lot of emotion into it, and I feel like I relate to it a lot. Again, his first handful of mixtapes were very difficult to stomach, and I still hate them to be honest. It’s crazy how much he improved though. Being able to see the growth with each project was really cool. Don’t pay too much attention to the scores of these projects. He’s my favorite artist. That’s the most important thing you need to know.
