Why the fuck did I do this? Smh… Okay, I’m gonna be honest with y’all; I pretty much knew exactly what I was gonna say here after reviewing Something Else. You know how? He’s been making the same fucking album for over 10 years. As I said in my review of The Calm Before The Storm, I really feel like the only selling point of his music is his impressive flow. He’s not the only MC who can rap fast tho. And don’t get me wrong; I’m not saying that literally all his music is trash. There are a lot of songs from him that I can listen to and enjoy. I would’ve never started this marathon in the first place if I thought he was completely wack af. I think he’s a very skilled MC. I just think he’s a fucking terrible musician. He has a severe case of what I call Eminem Syndrome. 90% of his hooks are terrible. Literally every single album follows the same formula. Cringe inducing Pornocore + cringe inducing Horrorcore + cringe inducing Gangsta Rap = Tech N9ne’s discography. And fuck Krizz Kaliko, seriously. I think he can be cool as a rapper, but this motherfucker CANNOT sing. He’s so bad. It doesn’t make sense. I think his music is better today than it was when he first started, but that’s really not saying much. I really don’t think he’ll ever have a truly amazing album. He puts quantity over quality. He should be the first rapper that comes to everyone’s mind when people bring up artists who over saturate Hip Hop. We don’t need albums with 30 fucking tracks. We don’t need that from ANYONE. Has Tech ever scrapped a song? Has he ever said the words “this isn’t good enough?” I feel like he throws literally every sound that he records on his albums. Here’s what the fuck he needs to do: He needs to retire. Just kidding. Well, honestly… I’d have no problem with him retiring. He doesn’t have to tho. He just needs to take like 5 years off, then make ONE album with 12 tracks at most, and ZERO features. He needs to actually listen to the shit he records before selling it to his dickriders. And for the love of God, stop using made up slang terms like “nokay” and “bianca.” Stop referring to yourself as a “killer clown.” Stop making fucking Pornocore. Stop making fucking trash Nu Metal songs. Stop rapping in reverse. Stop acting like a goddamn child. Jesus fuck. Seriously, the severe cringes this man causes are unbelievable. This man must be surrounded by yes men constantly. There’s not a sane person on this planet who would let shit like Enjoy and fucking American Horror Story be released to the public. It should be a crime for music like that to be sold. This was the first marathon I started. I’ve been working on this shit for over TWO fucking years. This is definitely my worst marathon. Not only the actual music, but just the way I handled it. I really wish I did it in chronological order. Actually, no I don’t. I REALLY wish I never fucking did this in the first place. This has been a colossal waste of time. Don’t be surprised if I never review another Tech N9ne album ever again. This was fucking torture.
