This is the first single from my upcoming Focus Hip Hop Approved, Vol. 1 compilation. I’m releasing this song to celebrate the life of my late friend Edward Nigel Marsh, who passed on October 26th, the day before I turned 28. This song was very fun to make. It features vocals from rapper/producer Dome Lettuce. He also contributed to the instrumental. As did I. waynerwoods really provided the backbone for this instrumental though. I also included audio from a voice memo that I recorded during my first semester in college when I was first starting to experiment with substances… I’m really happy with the way this track came together, and it’s just crazy thinking about how we really just created this. It’s a powerful feeling to be honest. I have some crazy shit coming, so I hope you’ll stay tuned for the full album. It’ll be out sooner than you know. Just… Ya know… Keep watching closely…
