This is probably gonna end up being my most controversial marathon. Probably even more controversial than my JAY-Z marathon. There aren’t any Outkast albums that I dislike, but I wouldn’t use the word “amazing” to describe any of them. Actually, giving Aquemini & Idlewild the same percentage is probably the most controversial thing I’ve ever done. Hahaha. Outkast at their best are better than 90% of all other Hip Hop act. It’s just one of those situations where I think they aren’t quite that consistent. For example, Aquemini has Outkast’s best songs, but ATLiens is more consistent in my opinion. That’s why a lot of their albums have lower scores than a lot of people would say they deserve. I really love Outkast tho. I think it’s time for people to accept that they’re not gonna put out any more music. There’s zero reason to believe that’ll ever happen. It would be great, but nah. That’s not gonna happen. Anyway, I’m technically done with the Outkast marathon, but I’m gonna do all Big Boi’s solo shit as well, so stay tuned for that shit.
